Narcotics or Tylenol, which is more dangerous?

It gets interesting when the manufacturers of narcotics start attacking Tylenol for being dangerous!  This is a rough breakdown.  Acetaminophen (Tylenol) kills about 300 people each year, but it is responsible for about 40,000 liver transplants.  Narcotics kill about 30,000 people each year which makes them much more dangerous.  BUT a real and often overlooked cost is the lives that have been destroyed by narcotics, including the people taking them and their families.  We do not need MORE narcotics we need much, much , much less.
